Ep002:
Filming the Impossible
Emmy-winning adventure filmmaker Keith Partridge has built a career capturing jaw-dropping footage in the most extreme environments on Earth — from the summit of Everest to the edge of a 3,000-foot waterfall in Venezuela.
In this episode, Keith shares how a student with no clear path found his way into filmmaking, eventually shooting the BAFTA-winning Touching the Void. He recounts a harrowing experience in the Peruvian Andes, hanging from a brittle sheet of ice with nowhere to go but down. It’s a gripping story of risk, trust, and why fear — when used wisely — can keep you alive.
